Job Opportunity: Civil Designer / Drafter (AutoCAD & Civil 3D)

We are seeking a proficient and experienced Civil Designer / Drafter (with expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software) to be an important part of our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Prepare comprehensive drawings/plans for various civil engineering projects to support grading, drainage, water main, sanitary, stormwater, road, pavement designs and utility layouts.
Assist in the development of cost estimates, contract specifications, tender documents and applications for approvals.
Facilitate clear communication among project stakeholders, including clients, sub-consultants, contractors and construction supervision staff.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a civil engineering consulting company.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
Demonstrated expertise in Xrefs, viewports, volume calculation, map preparation, processing field survey data and topographic plats.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Familiarity with residential and commercial drafting standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Exceptional multitasking abilities to meet project deadlines.
Uphold high moral standards and a strong work ethic.
